Highlight 1: Brand new design
According to sources, this new MacBook will be redesigned, with a body that is thicker and lighter than the current MacBook Pro. Previously, it was expected that this new product would still use the MacBook Pro name and would only be replaced with a new appearance. This plan is not completely ruled out, but various reports currently point to the naming of the new “Ultra” product line.
Highlight 2: M6 series chips
A new generation of M6 chips will debut later this year, and MacBook Ultra is likely to be the first device to come pre-installed with this series of chips.
The M6 chip will be upgraded far beyond conventional iterations: it uses a new 2-nanometer process technology, and related advanced technologies will also be simultaneously transferred to the iPhone's A20 Pro chip. MacBook Ultra will offer at least two high-performance chip versions, M6 Pro and M6 Max, and the standard M6 chip is also expected to be an option.
