According to TDRA’s certification information, the model of the Redmi Pad SE 8.7 4G version is marked as “24076RP19G”, while the WiFi version corresponds to “24075RP89G”. This clear division not only verifies previous speculations about the two tablet models, but also reveals their respective functional characteristics. The 4G version will undoubtedly support mobile network connections, providing users with a convenient network experience in a WiFi-free environment; while the WiFi version focuses on wireless LAN connections, suitable for use in homes or offices.
In addition, it is reported that the Redmi Pad SE 8.7 series tablets will offer at least 64GB of storage options. At the same time, this series of tablets will be pre-installed with Xiaomi HyperOS 1.0 operating system based on Android 14. In terms of network connectivity, the WiFi version is expected to support WiFi 5 technology.
It is worth noting that the Indian version of Redmi Pad SE 8.7 4G has also appeared in the certification information of the Bureau of Standards of India (BIS) with the model number “24076RP19I”, but the WiFi version has not yet been certified on the Indian BIS. This difference may be related to listing plans and sales strategies in different markets.
Judging from the starting figure of model number “2407”, the outside world speculates that the Redmi Pad SE 8.7 series tablet may be released in July or August. However, the specific release date still needs to wait for the official announcement from Xiaomi.
