MSI CLAW 8 EX AI+ handheld console 2026 is now available on mainstream e-commerce platforms such as JD.com, Douyin, and Pinduoduo through all channels. It is equipped with Intel's new Ruixuan G3 Extreme processor for the first time. It is also one of the first portable Win handheld consoles in the world to adopt this solution.

Ruixuan G3 Extreme is deeply customized for handheld devices, using Intel's 18A advanced process and Panther Lake's new architecture. The CPU part is a 14-core hybrid design with 2 performance cores, 8 energy efficiency cores and 4 ultra-low power energy efficiency cores, with a maximum core frequency of up to 4.7GHz. The graphics core integrates a full-blooded Arc B390 GPU, with a complete set of 12 sets of Xe3 graphics cores, 12 sets of ray tracing units and 96 XMX AI computing engines. It natively supports XeSS 3 multi-frame generation technology. Officials claim that it can run 3A masterpieces such as “Cyberpunk 2077” and “Black Myth: Wukong” smoothly with high image quality on the handheld machine.

In terms of battery life, CLAW 8 EX AI+ is equipped with an 80Whr large-capacity battery. Combined with the energy efficiency optimization of the processor, officials say that the off-grid performance is not compromised, and the battery life performance is outstanding among similar products. The system has a built-in MSI Center M control center, which can automatically match settings through the AI intelligent engine. It also supports manual adjustment of power consumption levels, covering different scenarios such as commuting and outdoor travel.
In terms of display, the machine continues to use an 8-inch touch screen with a resolution of 1920×1200, 100% sRGB color gamut coverage, a peak brightness of 500nit, and supports VRR variable refresh rate from 48 to 120Hz. The dual speakers have been optimized and adjusted to support Hi-Res audio certification and DTS sound effects.

The wireless module supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0. The body is equipped with two Thunderbolt 4 interfaces and supports PD3.0 100W fast charging. It can also be connected to a monitor and keyboard and mouse through the docking station to switch to Mini PC form.
