[ Gearbest Technology News]At 10 a.m. on February 27, the new ROG Phantom Air series models were officially launched. This time ROG launched two models, Magic 14 Air and Magic 16 Air, with a total of 6 configurations, priced from 10,499 yuan to 14,999 yuan.
In terms of configuration, the new ROG Phantom 14 Air is equipped with the latest generation AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS processor, which is built using Zen4 architecture + 4nm process. It has 8 cores and 16 threads, and Nvidia RTX4050 and RTX4060 graphics cards are available. The new machine also offers a storage combination of up to 32GB+1TB.
In terms of screen, the new ROG Magic 14 Air is equipped with a 14-inch ROG Nebula screen. The screen is made of OLED material, has 2.8K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, with a peak brightness of 500nits. It supports 100% P3 color gamut display and Dolby Vision display, and also supports color gamut switching function. In response to the flickering problem of OLED screens, ROG also added an OLED low-brightness anti-flicker mode, which automatically adjusts the eye protection and makes it healthier.
In other aspects, the new ROG Phantom 14 Air uses CNC integrated molding + anodizing process, and the Slash Lighting matrix on the A-side helps provide personalized decoration. The body weight is only 1.5kg and the thickness is 15.9mm, making it very convenient to carry every day.
The new Magic 16Air is equipped with the latest Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor and NVIDIA RTX 4060/4070 graphics card, with more powerful performance. The new phone also uses a brand-new 16-inch ROG Nebula screen with 2.5K resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, 0.2ms response time and 1000000:1 contrast ratio. It also achieves the top level in terms of display. In terms of weight, the CNC + anodizing process makes it look very delicate. The ultra-thin body of 14.9mm and the weight of 1.85kg are both very good among thin and light notebooks of the same size and performance.
