[ Gearbest Technology News]According to foreign media reports, Nvidia’s upcoming RTX Spark notebook may be priced higher than market expectations and will directly compete with Apple’s MacBook Pro series.
A report from Morgan Stanley gives new price estimates. Models equipped with the flagship N1x chip will start at about US$2,899 (about 19,600 yuan), while notebooks based on the standard N1 platform will start at about US$1,799 (about 12,000 yuan). If this number is accurate, RTX Spark will not be aimed at the mainstream market, and Nvidia is clearly targeting creators, developers and high-demand users who are willing to pay high prices.

In terms of hardware configuration, RTX Spark combines Nvidia's ARM-based Grace CPU with Blackwell RTX GPU, providing up to 20 CPU cores, 6144 CUDA cores and 128GB of unified memory. Nvidia also claims AI performance of up to 1 petaflop, underscoring the core position of AI workloads in the platform.
In terms of game performance, at the Computex exhibition, Nvidia demonstrated that “Forza Horizon 6” runs at more than 100 frames per second at 1440p resolution. Partners emphasized that the platform can provide high performance without sacrificing portability.
Currently, many manufacturers have joined the RTX Spark camp, including Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra, Dell's new XPS 16 Creator Edition, Asus ProArt P16 and P14, HP OmniBook X 14 and OmniBook Ultra 16, Lenovo Yoga Pro 9n and MSI Prestige N16 Flip AI+. Nvidia said that by the fall, the entire ecosystem is expected to expand to about 30 notebook models and 10 desktop models, and Acer and Gigabyte will also launch corresponding devices.
