[ Gearbest Technology News]Recently, the well-known design magazine Dezeen selected the top ten technology products in 2024. Among these ten products, there are two domestic products – Lenovo’s transparent display notebook and Huawei Mate XT Ultimate three-fold screen mobile phone Huawei Mate XT.
2024 is known as the “Year of Transparent Screens”. Samsung and LG demonstrated transparent TVs at the CES show at the beginning of the year, while Lenovo launched the industry’s first transparent screen notebook at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona – ThinkBook Transparent Display Laptop.

Lenovo states that this design opens new possibilities for collaboration and efficiency. Users can place objects behind the screen, and it will overlay relevant digital information, creating a blend of virtual and real experiences.
Another notable product is Huawei’s Mate XT. This flexible screen technology marks a breakthrough in 2024. Huawei released the world’s first tri-folding mobile phone, the Mate XT Ultimate. It has a 10.2-inch flexible OLED screen, which folds inward and outward with a unique two-way hinge design.

Huawei Mate XT Ultimate offers single-screen, dual-screen, and triple-screen modes, allowing users to switch scenarios by folding it. Its screen uses a composite lamination process, making it ultra-thin yet strong and durable. Huawei claims the Mate XT Ultimate leads the foldable mobile phone market, showcasing the potential of flexible screens.
Other shortlisted products include Apple’s Vision Pro, AI binoculars, and LG elevating screens. The growing attention to Chinese tech innovations by foreign media highlights China’s expanding influence in technological advancements.
