Emily Olman, director of marketing at Hopscotch Interactive, said she had two “super dark circles” after wearing the Vision Pro for the first time, possibly due to the weight on her cheeks. Ian Beacraft, CEO of consulting firm Signal, told the media that he experienced pain at the base of his skull and upper back after using Vision Pro.

There are also complaints from some users on Reddit about the Vision Pro, who experience ongoing headaches, eye strain, and pain caused by the weight of the device. Some users have improved their experience with modified head straps and third-party products, while others find the original straps to be comfortable to use.

Apple declined to comment on user complaints, instead telling the outlet it had access to the Vision Pro’s user guide. Apple recommends removing the device to take a break after every 20 to 30 minutes of use, and discontinuing use if you feel discomfort. Apple also doesn’t recommend continued use of the device for people experiencing eye strain, headaches, or other pain.
