It is reported that as early as mid-August, Kunming Municipal Labor and Employment Service Bureau and other official agencies announced that Kunming Wingtech was “recruiting 6,000 people from the public due to the need for the second phase of production.” In the second half of last year, Wingtech Technology also successively released news such as “the company has determined mass production plans with specific overseas customers” and “as of December 1, 2021, the first batch of mass-produced products has been shipped, and the products have entered the batch shipment stage.”

Later, a recruiter from Kunming Wingtech said that the company is indeed recruiting a large number of people. The company also does assembly and packaging. The department currently recruiting people is mainly responsible for Apple products. This recruitment is mainly to prepare for the launch of the second phase of the project, but the second phase is still wiring. After the personnel come in, they will first assemble Bluetooth headsets and set-top boxes. “Assembling Apple MacBooks may have to wait until next month because the production line is still in the debugging stage.”

Kunming Wingtech was established in April 2019 with a registered capital of 100 million yuan. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wingtech Technology. In late July 2021, Wingtech Kunming Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park was officially put into operation. The products of the industrial park include mobile phones, tablets, laptops, TVs, remote controls, headphones, IoT and other intelligent terminal products.
