Xiaomi's new notebook products are revealed, two 4060 gaming notebooks + Snapdragon thin and light notebooks

It is reported that Xiaomi will bring at least two Redmi brand gaming notebooks and a thin and light notebook next. Among them, both game laptops use NVIDIA RTX4060 mobile graphics cards, provide i5-12450H and i9-14900HX processors respectively, and both provide 16GB DDR5 memory. Another thin and light notebook will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite processor.

It is reported that i5-12450H has 8 cores and 12 threads, including four performance cores, 12MB cache, maximum core frequency of 4.40GHz, and basic power consumption of 45W; i9-14900HX has 24 cores and 32 threads, including eight performance cores, 6MB level three cache, and the actual acceleration frequency reaches 5763MHz. GeekBench 6 scored 2998 points in single thread and 17937 points in multi-threading.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite is built using TSMC's 4nm process and uses a customized Oryon CPU. It has 12 3.8GHz large cores, supports dual-core turbo frequency to 4.3GHz, memory bandwidth of 136GB/s, and cache of 42MB. Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon said that Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite is stronger than Apple's 12-core M2 Max and Intel's 14-core Core i7-1355U in terms of single-thread performance, and can achieve peak performance with 30% lower power consumption.
