The ability to maintain such a high performance release is due to the luxurious 10000mm large VC vapor chamber. This is almost the largest VC chamber in the industry among 14-inch thin and light notebooks, completely replacing traditional heat pipes. In the actual oven test, the core area of the keyboard did not feel hot, thanks to the innovative three-dimensional three-channel internal blowing design. In particular, the added bypass air outlet for the left fan forms a third air duct between the keyboard and the motherboard, effectively avoiding the pain point of the keyboard being hot when overloaded. Even the fan is a custom-made double-wing fan with fin-shaped fan blades added to the inner ring. The air volume is 10% greater at the same noise. Of course, as a flagship, the screen quality cannot be compromised. This 14.6-inch 3.1K OLED high-refresh screen, with the blessing of “Xiaomi's exclusive CMF color matching function Xiaomi CMF 2025”, achieves multiple screens of the same color. Comparing the notebook with Xiaomi 17 series mobile phones and Xiaomi Pad 8 series tablets, the color consistency makes people extremely comfortable. The color accuracy of ΔE≈0.3 also makes it the best among current PC OLED screens. With peak brightness of 500nits in SDR mode and 1,600nits in HDR, combined with Dolby Vision, the viewing experience is truly immersive.
After four years of waiting, the answer delivered by Xiaomi Book Pro 14 is satisfactory. It does not continue the idea of ”price war” in the early years of the Xiaomi brand, but reshapes the definition of thin and light notebooks through high-end materials such as magnesium alloy, carbon fiber, and titanium alloy. Through the third-generation Core Ultra and the oversized VC vapor chamber, it achieves 50W performance release in a 1kg body that is comparable to mainstream performance notebooks. Through PC Standby and Super Xiaoai, it breaks the final barrier between devices.
It is no longer the “Xiaomi notebook” that compromises for cost performance, but a flagship high-performance thin and light notebook that is truly confident to compete with the MacBook Pro.
