[Gearbest Technology News]vivo recently launched the vivo V30 series in the Asian and European markets. Surprisingly, the company is expected to launch the vivo V40 series of phones soon. Recently, vivo V40 SE appeared in Bluetooth SIG and GCF certification. While the certification confirmed the name and model of the smartphone, it did not reveal the design or any specifications of the device.
On March 18, foreign media Appuals exclusively shared renderings of the upcoming vivo V40 SE 5G along with its complete specifications and price. The device will be launched globally soon.

On the front, the device features a flat display with a wallpaper showcasing UEFA’s Euro 2024 partnership. The phone will feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels or FHD+ and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor and equipped with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 ROM. It will run on the latest Android 14 operating system with Funtouch OS 14 onboard. The phone will also support 8GB of virtual expandable RAM. It is supplemented by a 5000mAh battery and supports 44W FlashCharge wired charging.
On the back, the phone has three cameras arranged vertically, including a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel lens that may be dedicated to portraits or macro shots. For selfies, it will feature a 16-megapixel front camera. On the security front, it will feature an in-display optical fingerprint sensor.
vivo V40 SE will have an IP54 protection rating. It will support MicroSD, expanding storage up to 1TB. Other connectivity options include dual SIM support, Wi-Fi 5GHz, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C 2.0, and GPS. Finally, in terms of pricing, the price of the 8GB+256GB storage configuration version will be in the range of 250-300 euros (approximately RMB 2,000-2,400 yuan).
