TP-Link launches multiple Wi-Fi 6E wireless routers and Wi-Fi 7 is on the way

According to media reports, Taiwan has opened up the 6GHz frequency band (5945MHz-6425MHz) required by the Wi-Fi 6E wireless network standard since August 25 to provide low-power wireless information transmission equipment. In the product lineup exhibited by TP-Link, the Wi-Fi 6E specifications include the Deco brand Deco XE75 and the Archer brand Archer AXE95 wireless router, while the Wi-Fi 7 specifications include the Deco brand Deco BE85, Deco BE75, Deco BE65, as well as the Archer brand Archer BE900, Archer BE800, Archer BE805, Archer BE550 and Archer GE800 wireless routers.

Compared with the previous Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6E mainly increases the 6GHz frequency band, thereby increasing the available transmission spectrum for Wi-Fi wireless network transmission by 72%, and can correspond to higher network transmission bandwidth. As the Wi-Fi 6E specification is opened for use in Taiwan, China, it is expected that the application development of the Wi-Fi 7 specification will also progress faster. Due to the increasing demand for audio and video services, online games and virtual vision applications also gradually require higher network transmission bandwidth. Wi-Fi 7 with a transmission throughput of up to 46Gbps is expected to become the mainstream of the market.

Compared with Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 7 is expected to be implemented next to bring nearly 4.8 times the transmission volume, and more products will gradually join the Wi-Fi 7 specification in the second half of this year.
