The display export market is growing strongly, with growth approaching 20% in November alone.

[Gearbest News]According to the “Monthly Express Report on Mainland China's Display Export Market” released by RUNTO, in November 2023, the export volume of mainland China's displays (including automotive and aviation displays) achieved strong growth, reaching 10.54 million units, a year-on-year increase of 27.1%. At the same time, export volume also increased significantly, reaching 9.11 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 18.0%. In U.S. dollar terms, exports amounted to $1.27 billion, a year-on-year increase of 16.4%.

The display export market is growing strongly, with growth approaching 20% in November alone.

In that month, mainland China's exports to all major sales regions around the world achieved growth. Among them, North America, Western Europe and other regions experienced larger increases, both exceeding 50%. This shows that the competitiveness of mainland China's displays in the global market is constantly improving and market demand is strong.

It is worth mentioning that since August this year, the export market has maintained positive year-on-year growth for four consecutive months, and the growth rate is relatively high. Despite being dragged down by July this year, in the first 11 months, mainland China's cumulative display exports still reached 116 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 9.4%, and the overall performance was relatively stable.

Data shows that North America continues to be the largest market for mainland China’s display exports. In November, mainland China exported approximately 3.01 million units to North America, a year-on-year increase of 52%, accounting for 29% of total exports, and an increase of 5 percentage points from the same period last year. This further consolidates North America's dominant position in mainland China's display export market.

Followed by Asia, exports to Asia were approximately 2.9 million units, a year-on-year increase of 9%, accounting for 27.5% of total exports. In recent years, China, Vietnam, Indonesia and other countries have achieved positive results in trade cooperation, effectively reducing trade barriers and promoting the growth of the display export market.

Western Europe has become the third largest market for display exports from mainland China. In November, mainland China exported approximately 2.12 million units to Western Europe, a year-on-year increase of 53%, accounting for 20.1% of total exports. Among them, the Netherlands, as one of the distribution centers in Europe, plays a major contribution in display imports. In addition, the German and British markets also showed high growth rates, providing strong support for the expansion of mainland Chinese displays in the Western European market.

In short, with the continuous expansion of mainland China's display export market, the increase in global market share, and the deepening of trade cooperation relationships, mainland China's display export market will continue to maintain growth momentum in the future. While facing competition in the international market, mainland China's display industry must continue to optimize product structure and improve product quality to meet the needs of global consumers.
