The TCL C955 Mini LED TV is equipped with a 4K Mini LED display using quantum dot (QD) technology, with a maximum brightness of 2,000 nits, and built-in Google TV and game functions. The new TV also supports Dolby Vision IQ and has a 144Hz variable refresh rate. The screen's native refresh rate is 120Hz, but it can reach 144Hz with VRR.

It is reported that the TCL C955 Mini LED TV has obtained AMD FreeSync Premium Pro certification and has four times more local dimming areas than the C845 series. In addition, the TV also supports HDR10+ and HLG display formats, and can perform AI image enhancement, 4K upscaling and MEMC motion smoothing through AIgo Engine Max II. For users, content can be streamed from various streaming platforms with built-in Google TV, and content can be cast wirelessly from mobile devices to the TV via Apple AirPlay 2 or Chromecast.
