On June 28, Mobile China reported that Samsung has unveiled five new devices on the TKDN (Indonesia) certification platform, hinting at their potential launch in July during the Samsung Unpacked event. According to foreign media sources, the Samsung Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5 have been listed with model numbers SM-F731B and SM-F946B, respectively. Their TKDN values are 35.40% and 35.50%, which indicate the percentage of locally sourced raw materials, capital goods, and services used in production.

<strong>Samsung Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5: Expected Features

Both the <strong>Samsung Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5 are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform, ensuring high performance and power efficiency. The Z Flip 5 will support wireless charging, although its power output remains unspecified. Meanwhile, the Z Fold 5 will support wireless charging sharing, allowing it to charge other devices.

Regarding camera specifications, the Z Flip 5 will continue with a dual 12-megapixel rear camera setup. The device will run on Samsung’s One UI 5.1 based on Android 13, offering a seamless user experience.
