According to technology media XpertPick, the REDMI K Pad (model 25079RPDCG) has been certified by the UAE Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) and the Information Communications Media Development Authority (IMDA) of Singapore. These two certifications usually mean that the device is approaching its market, heralding that the product will be available to overseas markets soon.
However, the final naming of the device in the international market is not disclosed in these two certification information. Therefore, it is not yet certain whether the product will continue to use the name “REDMI K Pad” in overseas markets or rename it using other brand strategies.
In addition, the same source also disclosed that three other Xiaomi tablet devices that have not yet been released have been certified by the European Economic Community (EEC), with models of 25097RP43G, 25091RP04G and 25099RP08G respectively. Among them, the product with model 25099RP08G will be classified as the Poco sub-brand. Although the specific names of these products have not been announced yet, they are expected to be released one after another in September this year.
