[ Gearbest Technology News]According to Gearbest, the latest “Monthly Tracking of the Online Retail Market of Mainland China Display” report by RUNTO shows that in January 2025, the sales of the online e-sports display market in mainland China (excluding content e-commerce platforms such as Douyin and Kuaishou) reached 496,000 units, an increase of 38.4% over the same period last year; sales were 540 million yuan, an increase of 25.4% year-on-year; and the average sales price was 1,095 yuan, a decrease of 9.4% year-on-year.
In terms of brand performance, compared with last month, HKC surpassed AOC and ranked first in online sales in January; the spirit snake emerged and successfully entered the top ten sales. Among the top 10 brands, Xiaomi has the most impressive growth, while Asus is the only brand with a decline in sales.
Specifically, HKC performed particularly well in January. With its 17.5% sales share, it ranked first in the online e-sports display market sales, an increase of 4.5 percentage points from the same period last year, and sales increased by 87% year-on-year. AOC’s online market share of sales was 16.1%, a year-on-year increase of 45%, but temporarily ranked second in January.
Following closely behind are SANC, KTC and Titan Legion, which ranked third, fourth and fifth in the online esports display market respectively. All three brands have e-sports as their main feature, and the sales of e-sports products within their brands are nearly 95%.
With its advantages in brand ecology and cost-effective strategy, Xiaomi’s online market sales share has increased significantly from 2.1% in January 2024 to 4.1%, with sales soaring by 166% year-on-year, becoming the fastest-growing manufacturer among the top 10 e-sports display brands.
