OnePlus Tablet 2 appears on Geekbench, equipped with Snapdragon 8G3, greatly improved performance

The Geekbench listing shows that the model number of OnePlus Tablet 2 is OPD2404. For reference, the model number of the first-generation OnePlus tablet is OPD2203.

The listing shows that the tablet scored 2,079 points in the single-core test and 6,077 points in the multi-core test. For context, the original OnePlus Tablet scored 897 points in the single-core test and 3190 points in the multi-core test. This means that the new OnePlus Tablet 2 has achieved huge performance improvements in both single-core and multi-core aspects. For comparison, the first-generation OnePlus tablet was equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chip.

The listing reveals that the tablet comes with 8GB of RAM and boots Android 14 operating system out of the box. The chipset section mentions “pineapple”, which may be related to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform. This is consistent with leaks from tipster Max Jambor a few months ago.

Apart from the chipset, little else is currently known about the OnePlus Tablet 2. But it is worth mentioning that the tablet has been online in China before, and some information was leaked. It is reported that the tablet is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 mobile platform and is available in gray and green color options. The tablet provides three storage versions: 8GB, 12GB and 16GB. The top version has a storage capacity of 16GB+512GB. In addition, the tablet is equipped with a motor pen and keyboard clip. Also connected to the network at the same time as this tablet are OnePlus Ace3 Pro and OnePlus Watch smartwatches.
