[ Gearbest Technology News]Recently, foreign media broke the news about the key specifications of Microsoft’s next-generation Surface Pro and Surface Laptop for enterprise customers.
Foreign media said that Microsoft plans to once again launch specific models equipped with ARM processors for the consumer market, as well as commercial versions equipped with Intel chips. Typically, at least in some areas, commercial models are readily available to consumers through independent retailers. If the data provided by the retailer is complete, the 15-inch Surface Laptop equipped with ARM chips will be discontinued; the 13.8-inch Surface Laptop with a smaller screen size will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Plus and Snapdragon X2 Elite processors, equipped with 16-24GB running memory, and a 512-1TB solid-state drive.
The new Surface Pro for the consumer market may be equipped with the same ARM processor, with the same colors of “bright platinum” and “elegant black”, but with 16-32GB of running memory and 256-512GB of storage space.
According to Gearbest, the new Surface Pro for enterprise customers will provide a variety of configuration options. Not only can users choose between a 13-inch LCD or OLED screen, but there will also be two processor options: Intel Core Ultra 5 or Core Ultra 7 Panther Lake. The running memory configuration range supports 16-64GB. Additionally, the integrated 5G modem will reportedly cost extra.
The new Surface Laptop for enterprise customers will be available with 13.8-inch or 15-inch OLED screens. Like the new Surface Pro, it will also have an Intel Panther Lake processor and 16-64GB of running memory.
