Meizu Pad renderings exposed! Using the same design as Meizu 20, the frame is touching

Meizu, a company rejuvenated after its recent acquisition, has made significant strides in diversifying its product portfolio. While aiming to secure a top spot in the mobile phone market, Meizu has also ventured into the automotive sector. The brand’s product plans now include Meizu AR glasses, Meizu watches, Meizu tablets, Meizu Lipro, and Meizu Pandaer, among others. Although Meizu previously released a tablet, the Meizu mBook, which was priced under 2,000 yuan, it has long since become outdated. As a result, the company is working on new tablet products that will help strengthen its position in the market.

Meizu Pad Renderings Leaked

On May 9, digital blogger @fixfocusdigital shared renderings of the anticipated Meizu Pad, sparking interest among tech enthusiasts. According to the blogger, the design of this tablet appears to be inspired by the Meizu 20 series, featuring vertical dual cameras in the upper left corner, somewhat reminiscent of a button design. Additionally, the volume and power buttons are conveniently located on the upper right corner for ease of use.

The front of the Meizu Pad showcases a bezel that is slightly thick, which calls to mind the design of older Apple iPads. However, it’s unlikely that Meizu will opt for such a thick bezel unless it is positioning the tablet as a budget device. Industry experts expect that Meizu will refine the design and likely reduce the bezel size to stay competitive.

The Future of Meizu Pad

As of now, details about the Meizu Pad remain scarce. The tablet’s official name has not yet been confirmed, and there is no clear release date. If Meizu plans to launch the tablet this year, more information should surface in the coming months. However, it’s likely that we won’t see the Meizu Pad until next year.

Challenges in Meizu’s Product Ecosystem

Although Meizu is taking bold steps into the tablet market, it faces significant competition from established players such as Huawei and Apple. These companies have spent years building their product ecosystems and cultivating brand loyalty. Meizu’s entry into the tablet market will require time and effort to develop its own “family bucket” of products that can compete with these industry giants. As consumers, we are eager to see how Meizu will innovate and carve its own niche in the growing tablet market.
