As a Mavericks user, I had a familiar feeling when I saw NXT for the first time. Its appearance design inherits the design essence of the Mavericks NQi family. The angel-eye headlights are still very recognizable, and a magnetic detachable panel is used around it to facilitate users to personalize their creations in this area. At the same time, the circuit board-like design inside the cover also demonstrates its full technological attributes.
Compared with the previous NQi series, the NXT has been greatly optimized in terms of body lines. First of all, the two sides below the handlebars have become more angular, and with the red and gray decorations on both sides of the front fork arms, the front face has a muscular and sharp feel. Compared with the previous work, it is a little less rounded, but it brings a more combat and dynamic visual effect.
On the side of the car, the inverted triangle decorative lights are very eye-catching both during the day and at night. The side and rear areas of the car adopt more right-angle designs, further increasing the sense of power and speed of the whole car.
The rear part of the car can be said to be a very clear play of lighting effects. The turn signals are arranged vertically on both sides of the car body. When approaching from the rear, you can recognize it as a Niu NXT at a glance. The taillight in the middle of the vehicle is very small. It is estimated that after the passenger kit is equipped in the future, the taillight should be moved backwards to ensure riding safety.
It is especially worth mentioning the panel on the side of the newly released NIU NXT electric bicycle. This panel has a quick-release structure and can be customized according to the user's preferences, such as bags, tool boxes and other customized accessories, making the NIU NXT more personalized.
Blind spot monitoring + dual-channel true ABS, fully armed
BSD blind spot monitoring system, RCW rear collision warning system, TCS traction control system, dual-channel true ABS, tire pressure monitoring system, 220mm front and 190mm rear large double discs, you read that right, this is the configuration of an electric bicycle. The newly launched Niu NXT is a product that shares the same platform as the electric motorcycle NX. It has achieved synchronous research and development and technology sharing with NX, so the configuration of Niu NXT is fully armed.
The NXT front wheel uses a 90/80-12 tire and a 220mm brake disc, and is equipped with a motorcycle-level dual-channel ABS to make riding safer. In terms of shock absorption, the Mavericks NXT is equipped with a 31-core hydraulic front shock absorber.
For the rear wheels, the Mavericks NXT is equipped with 100/70-12 tires, a 12-inch full-disc high-performance motor with Boost launch mode, and a five-level adjustable rear shock absorber system, achieving both sportiness and comfort. In addition, the addition of the TCS traction control system also allows the Mavericks NXT to face rainy and snowy weather and some relatively slippery roads more calmly.
For those who often travel by electric bike or bicycle, they must have had the experience of being startled by the car behind them when riding normally. Now, the Niu NXT has installed an automotive-grade high-precision millimeter-wave radar at the rear of the vehicle. Combined with the warning lights on both sides of the handlebar instrument screen, it can sense the vehicle coming from behind, and riding safety is further guaranteed.
Riding experience: Electric bicycles can also have smart cockpits
In terms of riding experience, the new NIU NXT benefits from the same platform and technology sharing as the NIU electric motorcycle NX. With the support of the double-arm fence frame, the stress structure has been re-optimized to further enhance the riding quality.
As far as the actual experience is concerned, the first feeling after getting on the car is that it is more stable. The wide tires of 90/80-12 in the front and 100/70-12 in the rear bring better grip. Whether driving in a straight line or cornering, you will feel more confident and calm.
In terms of driving, the vehicle is equipped with five modes: economy, standard, sports, rain and snow, and master. Each mode corresponds to a different power output. In the master mode, users can customize the power output according to their preferences. The overall experience is that it does not run, but the acceleration is very rapid. In terms of braking, the front and rear wheels are equipped with dual-channel ABS function. When braking at high speed, you can clearly feel the vibration brought to the brake handle by ABS when working. At the same time, the wheels will not lock and lose balance due to excessive braking force, and you can brake sharply in a corner without swinging the tail.
Of course, the NIU NXT not only has outstanding performance in terms of vehicle riding quality, shock absorption comfort, vehicle response speed, etc., but also has taken a step further in the overall vehicle intelligence.

Through the “magic wheel” interactive knob, the screen display content can be adjusted without opening the APP. It supports music, battery status, driving track tire pressure monitoring and other functions, and can be directly connected to the mobile phone to map the information of AutoNavi navigation and realize navigation on the instrument screen. It can be said that it has brought a “smart cockpit” to electric bicycles.
