According to leaked information, the GTX 1630 is scheduled to be released next Tuesday (June 28). It is a “GTX x30” series product. The core uses the “Turing” architecture TU117, with 512 CUDA cores, a maximum frequency of 1.8GHz, and a 64-bit 4GB GDDR6 memory (12Gbps).
About “Turing Architecture”
The Turing architecture is equipped with a dedicated ray tracing processor called RT Core, which can accelerate the calculation of the propagation of light and sound in 3D environments at up to 10 Giga Rays per second. The Turing architecture accelerates real-time ray tracing operations to 25 times that of the previous generation NVIDIA Pascal architecture, and can render final frames for movie effects more than 30 times faster than the CPU.
