Meteor Lake adopts a 3D high-performance hybrid architecture, which is composed of performance cores, energy efficiency cores and low-power energy efficiency cores. Through separate modular design, it supports different process standards and further improves performance and power efficiency. In addition, Meteor Lake will be Intel’s first chip using the Intel 4 process. Intel 4 has a process library area that is 2 times smaller than that of the previous generation, and simplifies the production process through EUV extreme ultraviolet lithography.

In the Meteor Lake processor, the NPU for artificial intelligence acceleration is introduced for the first time, which is designed to bring high-energy and low-consumption performance for continuous AI and AI offloading (reducing the AI ​​workload of the CPU and GPU through the NPU).
