At the audio-visual conference, the company signed a Hongmeng ecological cooperation agreement with Huawei, announcing that it would launch or accelerate the development of Hongmeng native applications based on HarmonyOS NEXT Hongmeng Galaxy Edition. Huawei HarmonyOS officially stated: Hongmeng Galaxy Edition will bring richer traffic entrances, more efficient content distribution, and a more secure, convenient, high-quality, and trustworthy digital content and information experience.

It is worth mentioning that at the recent 2024 Huawei Cloud & Huawei Terminal Cloud Innovation Summit, Huawei Terminal Cloud President Zhu Yonggang said that in the fourth quarter of this year, the commercial version of HarmonyOS NEXT Hongmeng Galaxy Edition will be released for consumers. Huawei will assist enterprises and institutions to develop more than 5,000 Hongmeng native applications by the end of the year, and ultimately achieve the development of more than 500,000 native applications.
