Hongmeng OS becomes the first domestic desktop OS to pass the “Level II” security evaluation!

The core difference between Level II and Level I evaluation and certification is that Level II represents a product that has reached a higher level in terms of core technology, security, and sustainable development, has better security protection capabilities, and can respond to common network threats; while Level I meets basic security and reliability requirements, reaches independent and controllable compliance thresholds, and has clear sources of core components and no obvious security vulnerabilities. This sharp contrast highlights the leading advantage of HarmonyOS V1.0 in terms of security and reliability.

In this evaluation, in addition to HarmonyOS V1.0, a number of operating systems also successfully passed the evaluation. Including Tongxin desktop operating system V25 (kernel version Linux Kernel 6.6), Huawei Cloud Euler operating system V3 (kernel version Linux Kermel 6.6), Alibaba Cloud server operating system V4 (kernel version Linux Kernel 6.6) and New Fulcrum server operating system V7 (kernel version Linux Kernel 6.6).
