HMD previews its first self-branded smartphone! The phone may be launched in July

From the trailer, HMD smartphones will focus on sustainability, with an emphasis on easily replaceable screens. HMD said its goal for 2024 is to increase its portfolio of repairable devices.

The two images don't reveal much information other than the obvious HMD logo, and confirm that the phones will be available in black and pink. The latter uses a satin-like surface treatment, and we can see a corner of its camera module. HMD has not yet revealed any specifications of these new phones, but Nokiamob's staff said the device may be called Fusion or Legend and equipped with a 108-megapixel main camera.

Apart from this, HMD did not reveal any information about the new phone.

A few days ago, HMD announced some new progress at MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2024. The brand revealed that it plans to manufacture new HMD original phones and will continue to sell Nokia smartphones. HMD will launch its first smartphone in May, and the other three smartphones will be launched around July. HMD emphasized that it will produce smartphones that are easy to repair. In addition, the brand also revealed plans to launch a Barbie-themed flip phone.

HMD said that along with the upcoming smartphones, “a number of exciting new brands will also be launched this year.” According to ET's report, this could be referring to the product ecosystem that includes a range of products such as tablets, feature phones, and IoT devices.
