Foreign media: Apple will launch 8 low-cost new products in 2025, including iPhone SE 4

[ Gearbest Technology News]Recently, foreign media reported that Apple’s product list for 2025 seems to be dominated by a large number of low-cost and entry-level devices. Foreign media predict that Apple will launch 8 new or iterative low-cost devices this year:

Gearbesthas learned that the MacBook Air will be upgraded to the M4 chip, with multi-core CPU performance improved by up to 25% compared to the current model. The new model will be launched in spring 2025 and will likely maintain the current starting price of $1,099. All models currently come standard with 16GB of memory.

The iPhone SE 4 is rumored to have a similar design to the iPhone 14, including a 6.1-inch OLED display, Face ID, USB-C interface and 48MP rear camera. It may be equipped with an A18 chip and 8GB RAM to support Apple Intelligence, and will launch Apple’s self-developed 5G modem.

The 11th-generation iPad will retain the 10.9-inch display and Touch ID power button, but may be upgraded to an A17 Pro or A18 chip with 8GB of RAM to enable Apple Intelligence. The release time is expected to be spring 2025, the starting price may continue to be $349, and the base storage may be upgraded to 128GB.

AirTag 2 will include an upgraded ultra-wideband chip that triples tracking range, as well as a tamper-resistant speaker for enhanced anti-tracking measures. The product will launch in mid-2025 and is expected to maintain the current price point of $29.

Command Center will serve as a new smart home center product, equipped with a 7-inch display, built-in speakers, FaceTime camera and proximity sensor for dynamic interface adjustment. It is expected to launch around March 2025, with the high-end version expected to debut in 2026.

The second-generation HomePod mini is expected to get a new internal Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chip that supports Wi-Fi 6E, improved audio quality, and a second-generation ultra-wideband chip for better switching. The device may launch in mid-2025 and the price may remain $99.

The new Apple TV 4K is rumored to feature a newer A-series chip, possibly A16 or newer, support Wi-Fi 6E, and possibly have a built-in camera for FaceTime. The device is expected to launch in 2025, with the starting price likely to drop to $99 from the current $129.

Apple Watch SE 3 may be equipped with a larger display, a faster chip (S10 or S11 chip), and may use a cheaper plastic casing. It is expected to be unveiled in late 2025. The device may maintain its $249 starting price, or it may drop slightly.
