In this regard, Canalys analysts said: “Smartphone manufacturers regard tablets as a key opportunity to meet the productivity needs of their existing users, and are making full efforts to deploy. As manufacturers' channel strategies and ecosystems further develop and mature, smartphone manufacturers are becoming important players in China's tablet market.”
China's PC shipments fell 13% in third quarter
Specifically, in terms of tablet computers, Apple maintained its leading position, with growth slowing to 7%. Followed by Huawei and Lenovo, ranking second and third respectively.
