Bruce Lee: Huawei Image Contest winners honored by Philippine President

[Gearbest Technology News]On February 21, Gearbest noticed that Huawei Terminal BG CT Li Xiaolong posted a message saying: Philippine pollen Domcar was honored by Philippine President Marcos yesterday afternoon for winning the title of “Photographer of the Year” in the 2023 Huawei Imaging Competition (XMAGE Awards). He was awarded the Ani ng Dangal award by the National Culture and Arts Commission of the Office of the President of the Philippines. This award is used to recognize Filipino artists who have won awards in international art competitions.

According to Huawei's official website, the 2023 Huawei Image Competition will officially start on April 7, 2023, and the submission deadline is August 15, 2023. As an open platform for Huawei mobile phone images, the Huawei Image Competition encourages creators to record and share their experiences in the way they are good at, and witness the burst of inspiration. Huawei said that since 2017, Huawei has held image competitions around the world every year, constantly exploring new ways of image expression. As of 2022, a total of nearly 4 million submissions have been received, covering more than 170 countries and regions, and rich image cultural assets have been accumulated.

The 2023 Huawei Imaging Competition has 9 categories, namely:

• Good pictures are never too late——From the moment night falls, go look for the faint light in the night.

• Portrait——Use photos taken by others or by yourself to portray the character’s emotions.

• Art and Fashion——Fashion is the ultimate form of self-expression, capture the fashion moments that inspire you.

• Travel——Shoot farther, shoot in faraway places. Go and record the beautiful scenery that your heart desires.

• Hello Life——The ordinary moments in daily life become extraordinary under your lens.

• Photo Story——3-9 photos are combined into a story, told from multiple perspectives.

• Start shooting——Whether your heart beats faster or your blood boils, record a 30-second highlight.

• Mobile Movies (short films under 5 minutes, feature films 5-30 minutes)——There are always characters that are either lovable or terrifying, and it’s all up to you to create.

• Student Special Attention Award——For Chinese students aged 18-24
