The market share reached a record high of 70%, an increase of 2.7 percentage points from the same period last year and a month-on-month increase of 3.5 percentage points. Among them, BOE ranks first.
Luotu Technology pointed out that the voice of the global LCD TV panel industry has been completely transferred to mainland Chinese manufacturers. In fact, the collective strategy change of major panel manufacturers, which drives up prices significantly, is one of the manifestations of the shift in voice. The establishment of mainland panel manufacturers' voice was mainly due to the gradual withdrawal of Korean panel manufacturers last year. In the first half of the year, the total shipments of Japanese and Korean panel manufacturers fell by about 40% year-on-month, and the combined market share was only 9.7%, compared with the same period last year. It dropped sharply by 4.9 percentage points and also dropped sharply by 6.4 percentage points month-on-month. It is reported that currently only Sharp and LGD Guangzhou factories are left to continue to support.
The only leading manufacturer in the industry (with annual shipments of more than 60 million pieces) is BOE. It shipped approximately 29.3 million pieces in the first half of 2023, a year-on-year decrease of 7.8%. However, the market share increased to 25.2%, slightly increasing by 0.2 and 0.7 percentage points respectively compared with the same period last year, ranking first in the global large-size LCD TV panel industry.

The average annual shipment of the neck camp is between 40 million and 50 million pieces. These include CSOT (China Star Optoelectronics), HKC (Huike), and Innolux (Innolux). The three panel manufacturers have stable rankings. Among them, CSOT and HKC shipped approximately 23.7 million pieces and 20.7 million pieces respectively, with market shares of 20.4% and 17.7% respectively, an increase of 2.6 percentage points and 1 percentage point respectively compared with the same period in 2022. Taiwanese panel manufacturer Innolux shipped approximately 16.6 million pieces in the first half of the year, a year-on-year increase of 10.3%, and its market share reached 14.3%, an increase of 2.4 and 1.4 percentage points respectively year-on-year.
