In terms of performance, the new Meta Quest 3 uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 chip based on the Arm architecture as the core chip, which is closer to mobile processing in terms of power and energy consumption. According to official data, Quest 3 has a single-eye resolution of 2064 x 2208 pixels and a binocular resolution of 4128 x 2208 pixels. The resolution is nearly 30% higher than the previous generation. And Quest 3 provides a horizontal field of view of 110 degrees and a vertical field of view of 96 degrees, which is about 15% larger than Quest 2.
