High-end TV purchase survey: 80% of consumers support domestic TVs

[Zhaibi News]Recently, Guokr's Interesting Laboratory launched a big challenge on the streets of Beijing about the picture quality of domestic TVs vs. imported TVs, inviting more than 200 passers-by to experience and compare imported and domestic TVs on the spot, and choose the TV they think has the best picture quality.

Regarding brand selection preferences, in interviews before the experiment, 70% of respondents said that foreign brands are their first choice for purchasing high-end TVs, and 30% said that domestic technology has already achieved overtaking. When asked which characteristics of picture quality are most important, all respondents said that detail presentation, three-dimensional picture, color reproduction, screen brightness and the experience of watching movies from all angles are the most important.

The street PK was conducted in a blind test. Both TVs used 65-inch models, set the standard image mode, and played the same source in a home environment with a lighting level of 50Lux-500Lux.

The difference between the two pictures can be clearly seen from the on-site comparison pictures. The A TV on the left has significant advantages in picture layering, clarity, brightness, color saturation, and picture presentation at any angle, making it a fan of passers-by.

The voting results show that TV A participating in the test is Hisense ULEDX's new product U8H, and TV B is a foreign brand's OLED flagship. In this high-end TV domestic VS imported brand TV picture quality competition, Hisense ULEDX TV U8H received more than 80% of the votes of the testers, winning the collision between ULEDX and OLED with an overwhelming advantage.

According to Guokr's survey, the one that completely surpassed OLED in this street test was Hisense's new generation ULED flagship U8H. Developed and designed based on the pain points of users in real usage environments, it increased the dimming accuracy from 12 bits to 16 bits for the first time, achieving 4096×16-level intelligent light control.
