The Snapdragon X80 modem is designed for smartphones, extended reality (XR) devices, personal computers, vehicles and industrial IoT devices. Its biggest highlight is that it is equipped with a dedicated AI processor. Equipped with tensor accelerators, this processor significantly increases data transfer speed, coverage and performance while reducing latency. In addition, the new modem also integrates the third-generation 5G AI Suite Gen 3 to further optimize coverage and positioning accuracy.
