New MR product Qiyu MIX released: binocular color perspective, 3-year lying play plan

As the world's first consumer-grade MR equipped with binocular color perspective solution, the Qiyu MIX host is equipped with two 16-megapixel perspective-specific full-color cameras. Compared with the monocular solution, it can achieve a more natural and comfortable color perspective effect, and can derive a higher-quality mixed reality experience based on MR technology. This time, several MR applications including “Dinosaur Planet MR” and “MR Show-Ye Youyou” were released with the product.

At the press conference, Dream Bloom CEO Xiong Wen pointed out that as one of the earliest XR explorers in China, Qiyu has always adhered to the “hardware + content” dual-wheel drive strategy. After seven years of continuous cultivation, in terms of market share, the Qiyu brand has firmly occupied the first echelon of the industry; in terms of users, the average daily usage time of Qiyu devices is 85 minutes, the weekly active days are 6 days, and the monthly boot rate is 91%, and the user activity and retention are leading in the industry; relying on the natural advantages of iQiyi, Qiyu has also achieved global leadership in movie watching. Xiong Wen believes that the most important thing is that in the past development, Qiyu has been able to build its own full-stack technical capabilities and barriers from the underlying algorithm to application interaction, which is also the ballast stone for Qiyu to survive.

At this stage, the competition among the top camps in the XR industry is intensifying. Faced with the survival and development issues under the new situation, Xiong Wen pointed out that the future of Qiyu will focus on creating differentiated value for users. He said that on the one hand, Qiyu will continue to explore technology and provide different products for the industry and users. “The launch of Qiyu MIX is actually based on our forward-looking judgment on the next generation of XR technology or product forms. We believe that neither pure VR nor AR can meet the visual and interactive requirements of the Metaverse content for hardware. Compared with VR devices, MR can break the sense of closure and combine content with the real environment through a see-through camera, so as to achieve natural interaction between virtual content and real content. Wang Kai, vice president of Dream Bloom, introduced that as the industry's first binocular vision color see-through MR, Qiyu MIX provides a wealth of MR trial applications and supports MR multi-screen entertainment. In terms of hardware, Qiyu MIX still uses Qualcomm's flagship XR processor, Snapdragon XR2. This processor has no problem running mainstream games; the memory is standardly equipped with a combination of 8GB+256GB; the console is equipped with two 16-megapixel perspective-specific full-color cameras, equipped with binocular full-color perspective technology to achieve direct interaction with the real world, that is, the camera captures real-time images, synthesizes the virtual world and the real world, and presents a display screen with multiple colors, and the perception of surrounding objects and its own movement is more accurate, with less visual deviation and deformity.

In terms of display, Qiyu MIX is equipped with a 4K-level high-definition eye protection screen certified by German Rhine, which can achieve the effects of low blue light, long image distance, and low energy entering the eye.
