[Gearbest Technology News]Samsung M14 has been officially launched in India. The phone is a cheaper version of the M14 5G and the successor to the Galaxy M13. The new phone is equipped with a 6.7-inch display, Snapdragon 680 chip, 50-megapixel main camera and a large 5000mAh battery.
In terms of specific configuration, the Samsung M14 4G is equipped with a 6.7-inch FHD+ PLS LCD display with a refresh rate of 90Hz, a PPI of 391, and a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. The phone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC and an Adreno GPU graphics processor. The rear triple camera includes a 50-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth-of-field lens. There is a 13-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video chats. The phone is equipped with a 5000mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging.
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging. The phone measures 168×78×9mm and weighs 194g. Equipped with a built-in fingerprint sensor and 3.5mm headphone jack.
In terms of price, the Samsung M14 4G 4GB+64GB model is priced at 8,499 rupees (approximately RMB 740), and the 6GB+128GB version is priced at 11,499 rupees (approximately RMB 999). The phone comes in Arctic Blue and Sapphire Blue color options.
The Samsung M14 4G comes with a slightly larger 6.7-inch screen compared to the M13's 6.6-inch panel. It also replaces the Exynos 850 SoC on its predecessor with a Snapdragon 680 chipset. This should improve the performance of the phone. However, the battery capacity has been reduced, as the M14 4G has a 5,000mAh battery compared to the 6,000mAh battery on the M13 4G. The charging power has been increased from 15W to 25W.
In terms of camera, the M14 4G replaces the 50MP + 5MP + 2MP camera setup of its predecessor with a 50MP + 2MP + 2MP configuration. The front camera replaces the 8MP selfie lens with a 13MP front camera.
