A report from Android Headlines suggests that the Infinix GT 20 Pro will be launched in China, India, and the United States next month. However, the specific release date has not been revealed yet, and Infinix is expected to provide official details soon.
Before the official release, some information about the Infinix GT 20 Pro has been exposed through certification websites such as Geekbench and FCC. As the successor to the Infinix GT 10 Pro launched last year, the Infinix GT 20 Pro adopts a transparent back design.
In terms of configuration, the Infinix GT 20 Pro is expected to come with a Full HD+ display and run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset. It is expected to be available in 8GB and 12GB RAM versions and run on the Android 14 platform. Recent reports suggest that the Infinix GT 20 Pro will come with a 5,000mAh battery and may support 45W wired charging. In addition, the machine is expected to support 5G connectivity and Wi-Fi 6.
Details about the design of the Infinix GT 20 Pro are yet to surface, but reports suggest that it may have similarities with its predecessor. It may feature a front-facing display with thin bezels and a centered punch-hole camera. For reference, the Infinix GT 10 Pro's design is called “Cyber-Mecha” and draws inspiration from the cyberpunk sci-fi aesthetic. The design features an LED indicator next to the camera, giving it a futuristic look, as if the component is behind a clear plastic back, creating a unique 3D effect. The white strip on the back lights up when gaming, receiving notifications and calls, and when the phone is charging.
