[Gearbest News]Xiaomi is developing a new generation of tablet computers. Recently, the existence of Xiaomi Mi Pad 7 Pro was discovered in a piece of Xiaomi code, revealing a lot of information about the tablet. The tablet is expected to be unveiled alongside the Xiaomi Mi 14 Ultra.
Judging from the leaked information, Xiaomi Mi Pad 7 Pro is codenamed “sheng”. The sheng is a Chinese musical instrument. Xiaomi likes to use the names of musical instruments as codenames in its Mi Tablet series. The model number is “N81A”. The tablet is equipped with a 10-inch LCD panel. This LCD panel is manufactured by Tianma. The resolution is 1480×2367 and supports a 144Hz refresh rate. For reference, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 6 Pro measures 11 inches. The new Xiaomi Mi Pad 7 Pro will be a smaller tablet compared to the previous generation.
Xiaomi Mi Pad 7 Pro is equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. For reference, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 6 Pro uses the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is the processor used in flagship phones such as Xiaomi 13, and its performance is quite good. Xiaomi Mi Pad 7 Pro should perform better than its predecessor in terms of performance.

The Xiaomi Mi Pad 7 series is expected to be officially unveiled at the Xiaomi Mi 14 Ultra launch conference. Xiaomi is expected to launch these new products in April 2024.
