LG launches new Glam series of thin and light notebooks equipped with external graphics card RTX 2050

[Gearbest News]Recently, LG Electronics announced the launch of LG Gram’s new laptops “17Z90Q” and “16Z90Q” equipped with NVIDIA RTX 2050 external graphics cards in South Korea. The new products will be available for pre-order in South Korea from March 21st to the 11th of next month.

The new LG Gram 16 has a built-in 90Wh large-capacity battery and a 16-inch display. The product weighs 1,285 grams including the external graphics card, while the 17-inch LG Gram 17 weighs 1,435 grams, continuing the consistent thin and light design of this series.

The new product is equipped with a WQXGA (2560×1600) high-resolution IPS display with a 16:10 screen ratio, and the anti-glare panel can prevent light reflection and glare.

The new product uses Intel's latest 12th-generation processor, which has a data processing speed that is about 70% faster than the previous model using the 11th-generation processor. Equipped with the latest fourth-generation solid-state drive (SSD) and the latest low-power memory, the performance is 22% higher than existing products.

LG also used artificial intelligence (AI)-based camera detection functions for the first time in a new product. For example, the camera detects the user's face and gaze, and when the user moves away from the laptop, it will lock its screen on its own. If someone is standing behind the user, it will blur their screen content or display a warning message.

The new arrival will be available in three colors: white, black and charcoal. The price of LG Gram 16 (i5/16GB/256GB) is 2.29 million won (approximately 12,022.5 yuan) to 2.49 million won (approximately 13,072.5 yuan), LG Gram 17 (i5/16GB/256GB) 239 10,000 won (approximately 12,547.5 yuan) to 2.59 million won (approximately 13,600 yuan), with different prices for different models.
