According to news on June 9, Jeff Pu, an analyst at Haitong International, said that TSMC is expected to start mass production of Apple’s M2 Pro self-developed chips later this year. At present, Apple M2 Pro may be used in a variety of Apple products, because sources have revealed that the new Mac mini being developed by Apple may be equipped with M2 Pro chips.

In terms of performance, Apple's M2 chip uses a 5nm process technology and has a 10-core CPU + 8-core CPU. Compared with the M1 chip, the CPU performance is improved by 18%, and the overall performance is improved by 50%, but the power consumption is only one-quarter of the PC chip.
