Apple's new product name: MacBook Neo accidentally leaked, equipped with dual USB-C interfaces

[ Gearbest Technology News]In the past two days, Apple has released six new products intensively. However, surprisingly, Apple seems to have “leaked” the name of another new product that is expected to be unveiled this week. The latest news shows that more details about this device have also surfaced, far more than just a name.

Apple's new product name: MacBook Neo accidentally leaked, equipped with dual USB-C interfaces

According to technology media MacRumors, more details about this new low-power “MacBook Neo” have been leaked ahead of its expected release tomorrow. According to the news, the input and output interface of MacBook Neo will include two USB-C ports and a MagSafe charging interface. This configuration continues Apple’s design ideas since the M2 chip version of MacBook Air. This is certainly a significant improvement over the discontinued 12-inch MacBook, which only came with a USB-C port and no MagSafe, leaving users unable to use the computer's only data port while charging.

In terms of core configuration, this new model will support the latest Wi-Fi 7 standard, but the news pointed out that it will not be equipped with Apple’s self-developed N1 wireless network chip. In terms of processor selection, MacBook Neo is expected to run the A18 Pro chip originally designed for the iPhone 16 Pro. However, considering the release time, Apple may also equip it with the same A19 Pro chip as the future iPhone 17 Pro. All the pieces of the puzzle will be revealed tomorrow, when Apple will hold a media experience event at 9 a.m. ET.
