The new Studio Display is equipped with a 12-megapixel Center Stage camera that supports improved image quality and a new Desk View feature that simultaneously displays the user and the top view of their desktop, ideal for presenting creative projects. In addition, it is equipped with a studio-grade three-microphone array and an immersive six-speaker sound system that supports spatial audio to provide a superior audio experience. In terms of connectivity, Studio Display uses powerful Thunderbolt 5 technology to provide more downstream connections for high-speed accessories or monitor daisy chaining capabilities.
The new Studio Display XDR takes the professional display experience to a new level. Its 27-inch 5K Retina XDR display uses advanced mini-LED backlight technology, with more than 2,000 local dimming areas, SDR brightness up to 1,000 nits, and HDR peak brightness up to 2,000 nits. It also supports a wider color gamut, showing amazing contrast, vividness and accuracy. In addition, the 120Hz refresh rate and Adaptive Sync technology make dynamic content smoother and more responsive.
Studio Display XDR also offers the same advanced camera and audio system as Studio Display, as well as Thunderbolt 5 connectivity, simplifying setup for professional workflows. Both monitors are available in standard or nano-textured glass options to meet the needs of different users.
