According to the official introduction, each iCUE LINK product has a built-in microcontroller as the “brain” to communicate with the system hub, achieving a generational leap in intelligent systems. The new “Time Offset” RGB lighting mode uses flashing light effects to make the fans appear to be frozen in place or turned upside down; each fan has a built-in temperature sensor and microcontroller for more precise control options.
It is reported that the iCUE LINK smart component ecosystem covers a variety of products such as fans, AIO integrated water-cooling radiators, and customized split water-cooling components. All iCUE LINK devices can be chained together and then connected to a system hub with only one cable between the two devices. In addition, the connecting cable adopts a two-way universal design, which eliminates the need to find and distinguish different types of power cords and adapters, making it more convenient.
In addition, the first batch of iCUE LINK products will be launched in June this year, including new fans, integrated water cooling and system hubs.
