Both devices are rugged and designed to meet the needs of frontline workers in industries such as retail, logistics and healthcare.
It is understood that both XCover7 Pro and Tab Active5 Pro have excellent protection capabilities and can withstand various harsh conditions. They meet MIL-STD-810H standards, which means these devices are resistant to drops and extreme temperature changes. Additionally, the Tab Active5 Pro is IP68 water and dust resistant. Both devices protect the screen with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ to enhance its resistance to scratches and impacts.
In terms of configuration, both XCover7 Pro and Tab Active5 Pro are equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 mobile platform, providing 6GB running memory and 128GB body storage, supporting TF memory card expansion, up to 2TB. XCover7 Pro has a built-in 4350mAh battery and is equipped with a 6.6-inch LCD screen with a screen resolution of 1080P. The Tab Active5 Pro has a dual-battery design with a maximum capacity of 10100mAh, supports hot swapping, and is equipped with a 10.1-inch LCD screen with a screen resolution of 1200 pixels.
In addition, both devices support 5G connections and are compatible with Samsung DeX functions, support use as external monitors, and have built-in AI tools such as Circle to Search, Object Eraser, and AI Select.
In terms of price, the Active5 Pro Wi-Fi version (6GB/128GB) is priced at 809 euros (approximately RMB 6,700), while the specific pricing of the 5G version has not yet been announced. The price details of XCover7 Pro have not been disclosed yet.
