[ Gearbest Technology News]On July 24, Gearbestlearned from foreign media that Redmi will launch Redmi Pad SE 4G and Redmi Pad Pro 5G tablets in the Indian market on July 29 at the same time.
As the successor to the Wi-Fi version launched last year, the biggest upgrade highlight is the addition of 4G network connectivity. The tablet will be equipped with an 8.7-inch high-definition (1340×800 pixels) display, supports 90Hz refresh rate, is equipped with MediaTek Helio G99 processor, and is equipped with a 6650mAh battery, which supports 18W fast charging technology.
In terms of design, the Redmi Pad SE 4G adopts a square body design with thicker bezels, which is a common feature of budget tablets. The tablet is also expected to be equipped with dual speakers and supports Dolby Atmos sound effects. Additionally, it may retain the 3.5mm headphone jack.
In terms of photography, the Redmi Pad SE 4G is expected to be equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera, which can meet users’ needs for taking basic photos and videos. In terms of storage, the tablet will have built-in 128GB of storage space and support expansion to up to 2TB through a microSD card.
The Redmi Pad Pro 5G is equipped with a larger 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD screen, which supports 120Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision technology. The tablet is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen2 mobile platform, which is more powerful than the Redmi Pad SE 4G processor.
In terms of design, the Redmi Pad Pro 5G adopts a narrower metal body, which makes it more high-end texture. It comes with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage and can be expanded with a microSD card.
In addition, the Redmi Pad Pro 5G is equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera to meet the needs of video calls and daily shooting. In terms of battery life, the tablet has a built-in 10,000mAh large-capacity battery and supports 33W fast charging technology.
