Nvidia’s B300 Series and Growth Projections

Nvidia has recently rebranded its Blackwell Ultra products to the B300 series, which is expected to drive the company’s high-end GPU shipments to new heights. The B300 series will utilize Cowos-L GPU products like B300 and GB300, with shipments expected to begin between the second and third quarters of 2025. Meanwhile, Nvidia’s B200 and GB200 series are slated for delivery between the fourth quarter of 2024 and the first quarter of 2025.

Projections for 2025: A Surge in High-End GPU Shipments

Jibang Consulting predicts that Nvidia will increasingly focus on AI models in 2025, aiming to generate higher revenue. As a result, high-end GPU shipments will experience substantial growth. In 2024, these shipments will make up about 50% of total shipments. By 2025, Nvidia’s high-end GPU shipments will increase by more than 20 percentage points, surpassing 65%.

The Role of Cowos and HBM in Nvidia’s Strategy

The Blackwell series will also increase demand for Cowos technology. Nvidia, as a major operator of Cowos, will significantly raise the proportion of Cowos demand in 2025. Jibang Consulting expects Cowos demand to grow by more than 10 percentage points in 2025. Moreover, Nvidia’s demand for High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) will continue to rise. By 2025, the company is expected to consume over 70% of the HBM market, marking an increase of over 10 percentage points compared to previous years.
