Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX Performance: A New Generation on Geekbench

Recently, Gearbest noticed that the test results of two high-end gaming notebook CPU models appeared in the Geekbench database, including the performance of the test engineering machine equipped with Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX performance in the AI benchmark test.

Intel’s Arrow Lake-HX series will include 6 SKUs, covering market segments from entry-level to flagship. The flagship Core Ultra 9 series has gained significant attention. The Core Ultra 9 285HX features 8 P cores based on the Lion Cove architecture and 16 E cores based on Skymont, offering a total of 24 cores and 24 threads. This configuration provides powerful performance for both gaming and professional applications. The Core Ultra 9 275HX shares the same core configuration as the 285HX but has a 100 MHz lower P core frequency.

In the Core Ultra 7 series, the 265HX delivers strong performance with 8 P cores and 12 E cores, totaling 20 cores and 20 threads. This configuration ensures impressive processing power for demanding tasks. Intel reduced the frequencies of the P core and E core in the Core Ultra 7 255HX by 100 MHz, but it still performs powerfully.

The Core Ultra 5 series has also generated excitement. The Ultra 5 245HX includes 6 P cores and 8 E cores, offering a 14-core, 14-thread configuration. The Ultra 5 235HX has the same core configuration, but the P core frequency drops to 2.9 GHz, giving users more options.
